Hell Divers 5 (3d shooter)
3 main updates:
First level changed significantly from the introduction level. I added a second room that is significantly different from before. More of an enemy gauntlet.
Second level has been changed to be a vertical platforming level. Enemy density was used to provide a stage hazard and provided props as a way to use cover when fighting the bugs.
Third level was added from scratch. This is a close quarters boss fight using jump pads for verticality.
Each level has a specific theme. They all were decorated using props in the prefab folder. Checkpoints were added to each level -- but in retrospect, I should've put one ups hidden in each level, as a secret reward. I think I prefer to design 2d levels over 3d environments, however.
